Sorry, I haven't logged on here for a while as all my electronics was taken out by lightning. My insurance has been taking their time but I'll try and catch up in the next few days.

Has anyone been experiencing random slow downs/pages not loading/time outs the last couple of days? Its seems random at the moment. It would happen and then an hour later everything is back to normal.

I would have replied last night, but I cannot open mybroadband on my iBurst at home anymore...I think that could actually count as an answer to your question

Oh yeah i had the same problem last night. Had to use my phone.

Perhaps worth checking your settings (mtu,rwin, dns etc.) in case windows has decided to overwrite them.

Everything checks out. i'm pretty sure its not on my side. It usually happens when i get home from work (between 5 and 6pm) till about 8pm. Right now i'm getting 20KB/s on my 2mb modem but the rest of the day i would get 200 - 250.

probably some iburst user with a bot network on their machine sending out spam and slowing down your connection

And my connection returned to normal at exactly 7pm. Weird.

Is it just me or anyone else can access google and it related service?

http://google.co.za gives dns error... try https://google.co.za

Got it to work by switching to google public dns.
No problems in Cape Town.
International Dead slow.
