*READ FIRST* iBurst Network Status & Issues (DNS, Throughput and Latency)

The WAREZ site is a problem. Having the guys look at it. Don't know if I'll be able to find anyone to kick out of bed and have a look at it, but definitely by the morning.

Thanks Rooi. As I said, the warez site is definately up. Just cant access it with IBurst. The GPS site I got working after about 50 retries.

Rooi, as you know already the usual culprit is upstream congestion when WoW is consuming more bandwidth in raids. Could you see if there is congestion cause at the moment it feels like I am not getting enough upstream bandwidth for raiding and thus I lag out and disconnect.

Funny thing this problem only started happening since last week Monday? So what has changed?

This is definitly not from my side.

The NOC cannot find a fault. Please PM me your GPS co-ords and I'll drive out and check.

I am currently working with the vendors of our network hardware doing a review of the whole network.

I'll ask James to look at it.

it came right late last night. I could access all my usual hunting grounds.
Connection dropping was however a big problem between 12 and 7 as many of my downloads (about 350-400mb each) timed out at various points during the download.

Getting some packet loss tonight affecting Ventrillo and WoW. Ronald I have mailed you the tracert and screengrabs.

my iburst is EXTRMELY SLOW the last couple of days... please can you check it out. Cant even stream radio... keeps buffering and Gmail doesnt want to work.. cant send, and if send, really really slow....

twice today.... still connected but throughput drops so music stream and game disconnects - linksfield tower or network in general?

Was at home last night downloading a few files and the network seems to take a knock during happy hours
Started downloading a few files at around 11:30 and just after 12:00 speeds dropped from around 90Kbps down to 30-40Kbps

When: Sunday, 17 April...
Area: Brackenhurst
Problem: Connected, but nothing happens. Frequent disconnects. Unable to reconnect. Suddenly works for a little while... Repeat...

just to bump this problem of my post above and following posts... since 9:30 last night either actual disconnects or no data throughput occurring every 10 - 15 mins

I haven't been able to surf properly for the last 2 weeks, still can't open basic sites such as new24 and this forum. However, Mozilla seems to be working better than the new IE browser with I-Burst. Strange stuff....

I tested at 26°03'25.43" S 27°57'36.38" E and had the following results:
