Is anybody ele having problems on the West Rand (Krugersdorp Area) today?

huge latency again at the moment.

AGAIN.

Please can you investigate this and sort it out. I've been experiencing high latency in Cape Town (Gardens) for 3 days now. I dont know the first thing about networks but it seems hop 7 is introducing my lag >.< ??

that belongs to MTN Business. This seems intermittent from the iBurst side and somewhat regular form the MTN side? see traces below:

im pretty certain. Network monitor says no, other devices are off. GOing for another spin now.

now im 100% certain. My PC is the only device connected to the router. My network monitor shows no traffic. Starcraft still lags like a b1tch. Still getting random 1k+ delays on my tracert to the battle.net logon server:

wth is going on? Would be great is someone else could corroborate this. Are there any iBurst Cape Town techs who actually use iBurst at home and play games that connect to European servers? This is seriously pissing me off. I quit playing wow because the latency on the iburst network was too unreliable. Starcraft was manageable but now that seems to be going down the stink hole too. >.<

Did a speedtest to Newlands and local latency is 99, but speeds are piss poor. Not terrible, but not great.

Here is a speedtest to London - I get varying results but in terms of download this is disturbing

what kind of specifics? When i first brought this issue up you mentioned that there were tower issues. It hasn't gotten much better since then. Ive reset all my kit and checked everything i can from my side. Let me know what else i can provide you and I will. I will check the quality again this morning.

Please PM me your UTID and GPS co-ords (so we can track which BTS you are using and whether it is optimal).

sent. I played this morning and it was fine and I literally felt the lag kick in at 11:30. It is once again unplayable now.

Heres a pingtest

It peaks at over 2000ms.

you know what.....screw it......im sick and tired of iburst. just as soon as things settle down, something goes wrong, and I've had enough. Time to start looking for an ISP that is going to be capable of reliably giving me the net experience i want....

Sorry, I don't have any feedback yet from the NOC. The initial feedback was that the information was not specific enough.

is there any way I can check my signal strength and find out which tower im connecting to by myself?
