I would love option 2. It just didn't work out as expected.

Anyway. I can't refute what you said.
I am however not seeking attention.
Just screaming for help when I feel like it's the end for me.
The rest is pretty much correct.
Also. Did you hear? I became someone's buddy today. Now that person is the buddy of a cocktonsil. Lol
Maybe it is just easy for me to string words together.
Maybe you are truly facinating and worth having around
Maybe Im just a dick head
Whatever the case, keep making your move tera, because it is worth it for the soul

So much of hate - it's enough to make anyone want to check out.

What we need is more understanding and less hurtful words

No amount of walking in a park/taking meds/talking to someone about it would help the feeling go away. Been there done that.

All I can say is this; don't let your job be the reason why you want to do it. It took me a while to realize the toxic element in my life wasn't me, or my friends, but the job I chose to do at a company I chose to apply at.

You have full control over that, and there is absolutely no reason whatsoever you can't change that fact. It already sucks, it can get worse (trust me), but I would much rather change my job to a different employer and be marginally happier than decide to off myself, a very dark path I've walked before, and I can tell you now, no employer should have that kind of power over your life.

@|tera|

I'm sorry you feel that way buddy. I wish I could say that its all in your head and all it takes is a positive mindset blah blah blah, but some people really do have difficult lives. Mine has not been easy, but then sometimes I hear what other people have gone through and I'm like MAN I am glad that is not me.

What I'm trying to say is that I don't want to belittle your pain or make it seem irrelevant. It also is not so trivial as just waking up one day and being happy. If it was that easy, everyone would do it. The reality is that life is hard, for all of us, but for some it is just much harder. You are playing Dark Souls 3 on nightmare mode.

Nonetheless, while your life may be difficult, its also worth saving. You only have one of them. Trust me, you will be missed.

My mother committed suicide, so I do know what I'm talking about. And I've thought about it before - one April around 3 years ago, I made serious plans to kill myself. I thought I'd never be happy, so why bother staying around? 3 years later... let's say I've been lucky and things have gone well. I would never have got to that point if I had ended it right then and there. And I was seriously tempted, I was so sick of being in pain all the time. I don't even think I was going through as rough a time as you are, but nonetheless... it hurt.

I think what people don't get about emotional pain and depression is how physical it can feel. I find it hard to explain, but when I'm hurting emotionally, its almost physical. The word "pain" really applies here.

So what saved my life? It was understanding why I was suffering. I'd gone through a traumatic childhood, the details of which don't really matter. But I'd developed psychological scars because of my childhood, and these scars were still causing me pain as an adult. I couldn't understand why they didn't heal, why I still struggled so many years later. Why was life so hard? My parents had been dead for nearly a decade by that point (my father died of natural causes a few years before my mother killed herself) - why had I not got over it and just gone back to being a regular human?

I didn't understand why I was suffering and I was tired of being in pain all the time. The weekend that I decided to off myself, I went for a walk. I tried to meditate on this walk, trying to keep my mind quiet. It was then that it occurred to me that I'd had a traumatic childhood. For some reason, it had never occurred to me. My father died when I was young, and my home life was a nightmare of constant stress, my mother had mental illness for my entire life and later committed suicide, and yet it never occurred to me that I'd gone through a traumatic childhood. That night I bought a book on my kindle about childhood trauma called Childhood Disrupted, and it changed my life, because it explained why it is so difficult to recover from childhood trauma. At last I understood why I was suffering.

I don't know why you are suffering. I don't know if you know why you are so suffering. I don't know what trauma and horrors you have faced. Has it occurred to you to wonder why you are still alive? Why, despite everything you've been to, you haven't died yet? I wager you might be tougher than you think.

I'd ask two things of you. It sounds like you are already in touch with a mental health professional, which is good. Please be honest with them. Tell them... what you are thinking about doing.

Two, don't forget the kindness of random strangers. If there is something you need, just ask. You'll get some dickheads who will say things that won't help, but you'll also get people who may be willing to help. Not only in words but some times actions.

Tera, I wish had something profound to say that would make it better. I don't.

I cannot fathom what you must be going trough. Life has suffering. Take up your cross. I pray that you may suffer less.

If you ended up in the bad side and want to clock out, I say its inevitable. Go for it.

Any person who encourages someone to commit suicide should be locked up for life. In my view it is similar to attempted murder. You need serious help.

I take it you referring to LD50's post? I too find it reprehensible.

I appreciate that OP is sharing here what he is going through. We can encourage and give a different perspective, and others can share similar experiences and how they got through it. Life is valuable. Life has purpose. We need to talk about the difficulties. Sometimes it is easier to talk to strangers than the people around you.

There will always be those sick things as shown above that are the actual ones that need help. They don't value life and have not moral code left in them. Best is just to ignore them and hope the good drowns out the bad.

What does make me angry is when someone leaves a suicide letter and then leaves without willing to have further conversation. That is selfish and unnecessary. I am glad OP came back again and is fine. BUT please don't do that again. We have no way to contact you and you are not achieving anything by leaving a suicide note and then 'goodbye' as if everything is okay. Rather come and share what you are going through and allow us to have a conversation. Otherwise send a message to someone that knows where you stay or can contact you.

Compassionate post RV, you're a very kind guy.

@RedViking I admire your spunk, determination and caring attitude.

I have a very vindictive and sadistic nature and cannot get rid of it. Do you have any kind words for me? To make me feel better about me

Thanks for the responses. Had a rough night trying to sleep because my nervous system is shot.
I've got cramps and pain from stress and spent most of the day sleeping so far.
Headaches are awful as well.
@Ancalagon I also had some bad things happen in my childhood, but through the years and various counselling sessions I've put that to rest.
My problems now are just to do with the illness of being Bipolar. The depression. After depression, the instense mania that could last for days or weeks. Being in social interaction with people and if something goes wrong then my mind trips a switch. So it's difficult right now. I'm currently in the process of reducing and letting go of some meds and had dosage increases of others. So this is a factor too.

@Park@82 Thank you for your words. You speak truth, I just have to get up again though. Needed someone to help me with my cross.

@RedViking Thank you for being impartial in all of this and for your concern. I appreciate it.
Like I said previously I know I fail at many things and I'm not attempting to seek attention. I just didn't have discussion on mind yesterday.
I understand and agree with your reasoning though.

Mom's Bipolar, It's no joke... stay off booze and stay on your pills. The shades will be lifted, but it doesn't happen overnight.

Were you not the one who welcomed the spread of Ebola and said he would off himself before suffering its symptoms? And also said that you had a whole lot of prescribed meds?

On Redvikings behalf, I suggest you start taking those meds again.

@Ancalagon You asked if there's something that might be causing my depression and issues and something also just entered my mind.

I think I have major abandonment issues.
Someone in high authority said something yesterday that made me feel unwanted and that I have no place in the sphere of my current job environment..

The person basically confessed to not caring anymore and that's what set my mind off.

I know to the naysayers it may sound too simple and stupid and that I'm soft, but this does stem from my childhood and even early adulthood.
I wouldn't be surprised if all my issues are related to this fear of not being wanted. Not having a place anywhere.

It's a fact in my daily life. I'm always alone, except if I need to do something for someone.

So how would I overcome this?
