Really can't decide...Please help

Hey guys

It's end of the month and I still haven't been able to decide who I should go with in the Uncapped DSL department.

I'm on a 4mb line with a guy I know locally and it's horrofic throttling so I want to change, but who to go to??

I've been doing a lot of reading and can't decide, I can't afford a 4mb OpenWeb Gold account, only their standard 4mb uncapped.

I do between 60-70gbs a month. I play WoW, Crysis 2 and a few others so ping is a bit of an issue.

I use FileSonic/Rapidshare as well. I also watch a few YT vids now and then(which I heard Mweb is having issues with)

I need an answer today basically otherwise my internet gets cut off tonight.

mweb is the best bang for your back, i use torrents/news/filesonic, also alot of youtube/pron tubes and online gaming. Use about 300 gb + no problems most months.

Where are you located? I hear that people in CPT are much better off than JHB/DBN. I'm in Durbs. ^You sir do exactly what I do, I could do more Gb's a month if I wasn't throttled so heavily.

im in ct, generally get 350+ on my torrents after 12, it seems like most guys who are having problems are up country, only way to know is to try it though.

Yeah I guess you're right. Just having to chop and change all the time is frustrating and having to wait a month etc get's really annoying. We shouldn't have to. I don't do torrents, maybe the odd one so that isn't an issue. I'm more of a streamer and get really woos when a video starts loading and then full loads but can't click play etc. Which I hear Mweb is having issues with.

0kbps downloads. no steam. slow facebook & youtube. no filesonic, fileshare or astraweb etc. slow email. no news servers. take your pick.

the only good thing about mweb is the mweb guy.

Honestly the only really decent uncapped service I've had is the Openweb after hours unshaped uncapped... On a 4mbps with your computer on all day downloading you can probably do around 750GB a month.

It's expensive though, you'd probably be better off with a capped account for most months and then every few months or so buy an after hours uncapped from OW to download what you need to download...

it seem that mweb fixed their problems.... mweb definately offer the best value for money as long as it works fine. when not, oh well!!!
