Rear foglights driving thread

And them you get the numpties that drive with their park lights on and the fogs, but the dipped beam is nowhere to be found, all because it supposedly looks 'cool':wtf:

I saw something quite spectacular the other night. BMW X6, with a fake "M" badge, in the right lane at 110km/h, front and rear fog lights on with only park lights at 10pm, driven by a blonde woman, on a cellphone.

It was a majestic sight.

Noticed this behavior a lot - makes you wonder those cars come with auto-lights why would you take them off auto.

So instead of flying past her getting into the middle lane, you actually slowed down behind her ?

glad this thread popped up. not fog light related, but I was behind a Hunyadi Tucson this morning where the reverse lights were flashing randomly. not while braking, just flashing every so often, sometimes quick couple flashes, sometimes a long light.

Reverse and first gear too close :crylaugh:

Never heard of the reverse brake ? You put your car in reverse to slow down, it's like the engine brake in more efficient.

+1, leave the lights on auto and forget about it. Much less effort then actually putting your park light on, and then pulling the lever twice to put all fog lights on. This is deliberate. And stupid.

This is about the only road rage I have - especially when it's a newer BMW and they have that ultra bright pink rear foglight - and it's always some imbecile sitting so far back that you can't even see them driving

It sounds like you and I are describing the same one I saw last night...

Didn't know this thread existed. I really hate the fusckers that drive like this.

:crylaugh: this thread! im gonna drive with my fogs on from now on just to get on this thread!

Listen i totally get your frustrations, specifically at night when the fogs blind the cr@p out of you and it limits your vision for about 3 years after being behind the dude with their fogs on, i dont get why its a problem during the day (i really dont see the need to have them on during the day) but what i dont get is why are people raging about seeing cars with them on during the day. It doesnt blind you like it would if it was night time, so why rage about it? Rage about the night drivers with their fogs on.

It's so we can come here and tell them to fog off

On my wife's Up I still haven't fixed the rear fog, so when ever the lights are on, the rear fogs are on. I just haven't gotten around yet to taking the bulb out, or booking the car in to have it checked out. Will hopefully take the bulb out this weekend and then book it in some time late August when I have time.

So sorry if any of you have to drive behind me in Stellenbosch, I don't mean to drive with it on. :(
