Rear foglights driving thread

So so often 1st Gen Figo owners

Lots of these popping up these days. There is also the group that has their brights on behind you permanently. Gets annoying actually.

As if your blindingly bright rear fog lights weren't enough on this clear Port Elizabeth evening with only around 15km of visibility, I noticed when you stopped next to me that in the backseat behind you was one of your offspring, not wearing a seatbelt and with it's feet kicked up against your headrest.

For shame! Bloody idjit...

So what was his/her response when you rolled down your window and brought it to his/her attention ?
 
At the next traffic signal I got his attention by blaring my hooter at him and pointed to his backseat. He glared at me, voiced something and made a gesture with his finger and continued looking in front of him.

People are so damn ignorant and I can only hope that somewhere down the line he realises how dangerous it is for his kid to not be buckled up
 
I see this trend is picking up again. Nothing better than thinking a car 500 m in front of you as breaking, only to realize it is someone driving with their rear fog lights on. Annoying.

And then when there is actual fog, very few cars have their fog lights on.
 
Only realised the other day that my wife's car has front fog lights but no rear ones. Very peculiar.

If you're car is breaking on the road you want to use hazards, not fog lights... ;)

I've seen odd things on the roads. But on a serious note, these rear fog lights is just as bad as someone coming from behind with Brights on. Destroys my eyes and comprehension of distance for some reason.

It's been particularly bad for me the last couple of days on the N1 North. Driving after long, tough days at the office, greeted by rear fog lights everywhere.
I've also noticed more and more issues with people's lights in general. Cars where lights are out, the rears aren't working at all, including brake lights, driving with one light on bright at the front. It does me in.
 
I don't understand why people do this. It's not as if they can turn the rear fog light on accidentally either. Unfortunately there is very little we can do about this.
 
I recall in 19voetsek, the cops pulling me off the highway (N14 to Jean) , for having my front fogs on. Pity we don't have those fog light cops anymore.
 
I saw something quite spectacular the other night. BMW X6, with a fake "M" badge, in the right lane at 110km/h, front and rear fog lights on with only park lights at 10pm, driven by a blonde woman, on a cellphone.

It was a majestic sight.
