It was a lady on this one..
I switch my brights on when someone switch their rear foglights on because my front fog lights are always on.....I use my rear fog lights only when there is an idiot behind me with his front fogs on - and no fog/smoke is present
Supported, front fogs are a non-issue they shouldn't bother anyone in anyway. They are not nearly as bright as some DRL's out there. I use mine all the time as well, sometimes with the park lights only when the light has faded but it isn't dark yet.I switch my brights on when someone switch their rear foglights on because my front fog lights are always on.....

No problem with front fogs, i could care less. But it's stupid driving around in daylight/night with rear fogs on where there's simply no fog.

So front fogs also blind you?

On our Sharan I only use the rear fog lights at night when reversing. Helps a little bit.
Otherwise they remain off, and there is no way that you can accidentally switch them on - you have to pull the light switch out two clicks. VW drivers will know what I mean.
I need to make a bumper sticker to educate the idiots.
