Rear foglights driving thread

I thought with the latest cars, that the accessory lights only work with low beam lights? As this is required by law in many countries (don’t know about SA), this is also relevant to automated lights, otherwise you need to bypass the system... as done by many racers.

Understandably at night, but during the day? Thats being picky...

This is going to inevitably end up at - so people driving with their brights on during the day dont irritate you? Some say yes, others no and nobody can believe the other camp.

Yes, some people get irritated by excessive light, even during the day. You may not, but others do. People are different like that. Just like some people are finicky over noise, or posture, or temperature or 5000 other things

So its becoming more and more obvious from the answers in this tread that people are clueless about their fsking fog lights. I also suspect the ones who are the culprits aren't bothered by others using it either. So if you flash your brights at them they have no idea why

Agreed, maybe I dont even notice it because i think the sun is just shining into the lens.

But maybe they will at least move over so you can go past :p

It's not possible to accidentally turn the fogs on, since there is generally a different switch or additional action required.

Foglights? I didn't even know I had them? So you live and learn.

My eyes must be far more photosensitive than some of the posters here. Hate rear fogs, night and day. If it does not bother you... great, but I struggle. It is also stupid, because those fog light bulbs are not made for longevity and can be expensive.

Polo with reg CA 624 954, you have been spotted on the N1. Blue skies, daylight and rear fog on.

I think most people understand what fogs are. However, I agree with Rickster about DRL. I know my car has the white DRL in front, but also reddish pink ones in the back. This could cause some confusion as they are bright enough to be noticed in daylight, though they do dim when the car senses it is dark outside and it turns on the main headlights.

On mine, the rear fogs are smallish in comparison, but *** bright.

EDIT: Color mention

It seems you don't know what "rear" DRL are. What car do you drive?

Show me any car that has rear DRL... :wtf:

And this serves what point?

Mob justice?

Fap list?

Of everyone just reads mybb.

This thread is not for those who don't notice or do not care

This thread is to tell the world about those that drive with their rear fog lights on for no good reason (no fog or smoke and their other rear lights were working, so cant even use that as an excuse):

This morning:

Silver Audi A3 - VMV 574 GP

Charcoal Peugeot 308cc - REEE GP

Wednesday night, the 23rd of July:

White Audi A4 - CY63FT GP - it had these super bright LED ones, was a struggle to even read the number plate due to them

Grey BMW 550i - DYV 099 FS

White BMW - ZGX 143 GP
