I’m in the process of looking for a good reasonably prices hosting service and came across this hosting company on http://www.veyonet.co.za

Their hosting prices seem extremely reasonable but were wondering if anyone out there used them before or know if this is a good deal or not. I’m specifically looking to host dot net stuff but they seem to do PHP and ASP as well, plus the normal MySQL database if you need it.

Anyway anyone out there have an opinion? Thanks for any comments.

I have not use them before. I am currently using Circle.co.za which I am happy with so far.

Just do not EVER use Paradigm, that company is useless.

After doing a tracert I got to uggle.net (which redirects to some scrap booking stuff)

Domain White Pages lookup confirms this. So I'd steer clear of veyonet.co.za if I were you. From my perception it looks as if it's being hosted at a friends server or something in the UK so it might be a bit dodge.

Try Hostgator It's cheap and affordable and I've been using them for over a year now without any hassle. Support usually sorts things out for me then and there (much better than any other hosting company I've worked with before, especially local guys)

I've heard nothing but good things about Hostgator. Tried to sign up with them a while back but they're not fans of SA credit cards.

Shame on you AcidRazor for pasting an affiliate link on here, trying to make money from us?

Please read the requirements people, before referring just anyone.

Thanx

This is great I should have used the forum before, thanx everyone for your help and other options. :D

Yup. I blame the recession. And why shouldn't I? If I refer someone to a service I know I could be getting a commission off of I do. I think I made R34000 like that in the last 12 months so see nothing wrong with it. Especially if my advice is helpful and gets the person what they want in the end. I don't spam my ****.
