Rebeltech pricing

I've looked through the forum and seen that for the most part people are happy with Rebeltech and it's service, and extremely happy with their pricing. What I am wondering about is how do they get their pricing so low?

I am thinking of purchasing this card through them:

I checked the pricing on Rectron, and it seems Rebeltech are either importing Gigabyte products themselves or are selling this card at below cost?
 
They've got no physical store. Therefore they have low overheads. They get better pricing from the suppliers than you, since they move way more stock. They have lower margins than most online stores, as they're trying to get a foothold in the market first.

That's all my guesses :)

You need to remember that the suppliers OFTEN give better pricing to the bigger buyers than the smaller buyers.
 
I have bought a few things from them and I would buy from them again at the drop of a hat.

Awesome prices and awesome service!!
 
Bought my replacement PC from them after my friend recommended them.

Their supplier had delivered the wrong card so they couriered the correct one to me the very next day free of charge.
 
Also you need to keep in mind that Rectron isn't the only importer of computer parts. I've seen pricelists of many other large importers in South Africa and it seems like Rectron is becoming quite expensive compared to the others.

Yeah, but as far as I know Rectron are the official distributor for Gigabyte, so I assumed all Gigabyte stock came through them.
 
I have always been very happy with my orders from Rebeltech. It's a pity that they have recently moved to new premises which are further away ...
 
Bought from them for the 1st time a couple of weeks ago and my only regret is that I hadn't discovered these guys sooner...

Yes, Rectron has exclusive rights to Gigabyte.

Rebeltech has amazing service.... and prices :)

Nope rectron are expensive for the 1 time buyers who use friends accounts or their own accounts, they rape those guys. The bigger clients get much much better pricing.

Glad to see you found the right place :)

We [Rebel Tech] do not grey import any products for warranty issues. All products on our site carry the fully South African warranty (which varies by product/brand).

Our pricing is amazing - because we try our best to please our clients - if this means making less money then so be it.

Yeah, your pricing is insane for most products! I'm really tempted just to buy this now, but with the 680 coming out tomorrow, I expect AMD to drop prices on their cards shortly after, so I'm just waiting a bit to see what happens.
