Lot's of positive feedback on this board for Rebeltech, but I see most of it is a year or more old. Anyway I bought my rig from them based on that, I wish I hadn't. Four weeks and counting now and I'm still waiting for them to refund, repair or replace my graphics card.

They've got a pretty website and keen pricing but the reality of the situation is that it's a couple of guys cut & pasting orders into the rectron site. They carry fokol stock and run on margins so thin they can't afford office furniture. Good luck ever getting them to acknowledge a warranty claim or return a call when they say they will.

You do realise 99% of online stores do not carry stock? A number of them drop ship as well. They run on low margins hence the cheap pricing.

Nevertheless, post your complaint, email them a link - I'm sure they will respond to you...

Now I've never bought anything from Rebeltech so I'm not sure why the fanboi responses of above apply...

But this seems a valid complaint to me, saying others do the same is entirely beyond the point. Shyte service is shyte service and they should be called out on it and hopefully will then improve.

Posts like these make me want to cut my eyes out :erm:

Seriously you have no idea what you are talking about, The way your post is structured is also pretty useless.
No info on the card in question, you don't mention the fault and what feed back they gave you on when stock would be arriving.

Are you the guy with the Sapphire HD7950 which was found to not be faulty since the 13th of January?

Probably. Wow has it really been over a month. Are you the guy who promised to call me back yesterday and last week and has been playing BF4 on my card as a fault finding technique ? The same one who emailed me within 5 minutes of me posting here ? That guy?

Ok let me explain something to you, the card in question has no fault, I saw them testing it.
The issue is its giving you problems with mining as far as I know, You realize that the GPU's main purpose is gaming and not mining? Your complaining about a mining error you get. Funny how you left that part out lol.

You realize no company tests for mining errors because the cards aren't made for mining, they are made for gaming, your card ran perfectly fine through all the games and benchmarks, This I know for a fact.

Please note the views expressed here are my own.

(I don't work for them)

If there is an error there is an error, mining, gaming or overclocking related.

No its not, no company, supplier or manufacturer tests for mining faults because the cards aren't made for mining, it just so happens that they are good for mining.

His card passed every gaming test perfectly.

Tests that were run:

Battlefield 4
Furmark
Heaven
3D Mark11
Passmark

Was also tested under Linux (Mint 13)

Passed all of them with flying colors.

Isit? You obviously have inside knowledge into the testing methods of distributors and manufacturers worldwide, so please share with. Do they all play BF4 on super mega ultra at 1920 x 1080?

Funny how the company get's some Joker (see what I did there?) to come respond on here instead of a staff member. :erm:

Edit - After consulting with your Ninja edit, I have decided you don't know what you're talking about, and neither do they.

Won't be responding to an attention seeking clown.

Your right about that, my bad. But they are not designed with mining in mind.
Please contact any supplier and ask them how they test graphics cards.

as far as i know mining stress the gpu alot,so its actuly a good test,to see what it does at full load and high temps..
were in a game it may not load 100% all the time, all depends on the game and how it handle the gpu (bugs in the game that dont want to use the full gpu's power)

Of course the OP wants a staff member to contact them.

Attention seeking clown? Is that the best you can come up with? Sigh, back in my day jokers were sharp-witted.

Btw, I'll just leave this here:

Accelerate the applications you use every day. Get faster performance in Adobe® Creative Suite® 6, Corel WinZip® and GIMP with AMD App Acceleration on the AMD Radeon™ HD 7950.

Gaming only huh?

Also true but no company uses mining as a stress test. Furmark is also a very good intense stress test and will 99% of the time duplicate the fault if there is one. I do mining myself, so I know my way around it and I have also had issues with 1 specific card that sucked bad for mining and would keep on giving errors if I went past intensity 13, but it works perfectly fine for gaming.

I don't see anything about scrypt mining?

Why is Rebeltech even testing the card? They're a reseller and the warranty is in no way their own. They should be returning it to its official SA distributor or repair agent to do proper testing and replace/refund.

If there isn't one, OP, this is the k@k you get for buying grey imports!
