Recent latency

ive been getting 4000 - 10000 pings since last week cant play at all plus d/cs

then it went to 300-350+

yeah i remember those days!!! then blizz decided to expand the servers, more traffic,more players and more lag and crappy latency!!

The past two days ive had the best latency ever. Sitting around 220 - 270

I moved to webafrica unshaped - the line became active just as the new patch came out - my latency used to be 700 - 800, its now between 250 - 300, hardly ever goed above 300

I have a 4MBPS ADSL unshaped account and I have been averaging around 450-750ms goes up and down very strange mostly in the red had a couple of gd days but those sont last

My two cents

Just to throw in my two cents

I have a 4MB ADSL line, with two ISP's accounts, one shaped with MWEB, the other unshaped with WebAfrica. My latency is generally always as follows:

MWEB: 700-800ms

WebAfrica: 350-415ms

I did implement the registry tweaks last night, but there was absolutely no WoW access via ADSL for some ungodly reason. Hopefully it's up tonite then I can post a follow up later.

On a side note, with regards to FPS, what are u guys getting? Mine is always 60, but I use high quality video settings on a relatively high-spec machine.

On average its 60fps, in shattrah it drops to about 50 sometimes and in areas in ouland it goes as high as 90+

Speed follow-up post

Hi Again,

Just a quick follow up to my post from yesterday. Thank god the powers that be resolved the internet cock-up and I was able to log into WoW. I am happy to report that the registry mods made a big change to my latency, I was down to 245ms-275ms (was generally 375ms-450ms), I was online between 19h00 and 24h00 and it was consistent.
