You could create a bhyve Vm running Ubuntu...Mine runs in a FreeNAS jail on my NAS, the ports are a bit behind the latest version (as there is no native freebsd build) but not by too much.
I could but I don't want to, a jail is lot less resource heavy. I don't run any VMs on my nas, freenas just isn't that great for it.You could create a bhyve Vm running Ubuntu...
Updated recently. If you are running 2.4Ghz wireless clients and have Auto Optimize Network enabled, you may pick up connectivity issues with older wireless devices.Anyone upgrade to the new version 5.10.24-11676-1 yet?
Is it stable?
pretty pixelsWhy all this hassle to run the controller?
Either use your phone....or set and forget.
There is no need to run the controller 24/7 and especially not for only one AP.
Just don't auto-update the JavaI the linuxserver docker container at my parents house on a RPi and run mine in a ubuntu server VM on proxmox.
I haven't had any issues (other than the ones UBNT have created).
Have a look at running Open Media Vault (with docker addon) on a Rpi 3B+.
