I currently get a work phone allowance of R1050 / month and was wondering what would you recommend?

I have a 13 Pro Max at the moment but would like to try Android for a while that is proper dual sim.

I am with MTN and have looked at some of their contracts and the phones that have caught my eye is the S22 series or the Oppo Reno 8 Pro.

The contract should have a reasonable amount of minutes and small amount of data.

The phone should hve a decent camera and good performance comparable to the iPhone.

Is there something else that I might have missed?
Anything else you can recommend?

Contract offerings are slim pickings generally

True.

I mean Huawei is a no go.
Xiaomi is good but I would rather buy cash.
Vivo doesnt offer decent flagships.
Oppo seems okay but still new to the market.

So we are basically stuck between choosing Samsung or iPhone.

Yeah wish I could get the business deals but I dont have a registered business.
Only get an allowance.

Yes I have.
Im just so used to flagships I think going midrange would be difficult
if you are gonna still have the iPhone, might as well get an Galaxy S22. They have a really good still camera.

Pay in extra and get an iPhone. You can’t put a price on your well-being and happiness.

S22 Ultra or there about.

Note 20 was also good. Same with S21 Ultra.

Otherwise IPHONE is best. Their photo quality isnt 2nd best to none.

Basically in terms of Quality
1. Iphone
2. Samsung
3. Huawei

The rest isnt that great anymore. They buy parts etc to make them sound better.

If you take lots of photos, then yip. 14 Pro Max changed a lot.
