Hi folks

I realise it may be seriously uncool to even suggest bringing in an outsider and not running this as a DIY project, but I lack the time, the patience, the practical know-how and quite possibly the skill.

I need to get a home LAN set-up. Medium-sized house - but loads of concrete and metal makes it a bit of a Faraday cage in parts. WiFi (with extenders) is just not cutting it. Loads of kids and loads of devices.

I am not really looking for a debate on the benefits of Ethernet / Ethernet over powerline / fibre or some other flavour of technology.

I am looking for a competent professional to come in, review the needs, make some recommendations and then do the installation and trouble shoot it until it is up.

So far the only guys who seem to focus on the home LAN market is "Dial a Nerd" (how I hate that name). The other option seems to be trying to find a corporate installer who is willing to take on a small project and hoping that I don't get charged corporate prices.

So any suggestions most welcome - either a dedicated home installer or a good corporate installer who may be willing to do a quick home project.

Thanks in anticipation.

I am looking for the same thing. The Dial a Nerd guys recommended a Rocket AP but there is no stock in the country.
