Recommendations for small/super-mini type car

White it is. There wasn't even a contest between the colour options, the white is just superior and going to look slick with the slightly tinted smash and grab.

Looks fantastic in white. Must say, I never did consider the Mazda2 when I was getting a new car last month, either way, I liked the Clio 4 Dynamique better so went with that.

I have been noticing a lot of the Mazda2s around and can't help but look, its SOOOO much better looking than its predecessor, inside and out, worlds apart, IMO.

How large is that centre display??? I noticed it at the robots when a Mazda2 pulled up next to me.

EDIT:
I love this

Looks very grown up.

Looks very grown up.

That Clio is very sexy from the outside, it was my first choice when I started looking but I didn't like the interior. For some reason this high gloss plastic is all the rage and I think it looks awful, the cheaper Mazda 2's also have a glossy trim (not as shiny as the Clio's though) so I went for the model with the soft touch trim which looks a lot better to me (like in the picture you posted, just the dark trim not the light).

The console isn't that big, it's 7 inches so big enough to read but not huge that it's in the way. When I was researching the purchase all the reviews I watched/read were quite positive on the console UI and functionality.

I did spend a bit more than I initially intended but now I've got the better model with rain and light sensors and keyless entry with the better trim and I threw in the satnav otherwise the console goes to waste imo.

If everything goes according to plan I should have it tomorrow some time.

This is what the interior of these models looks like:

Yep, noticed its not too big, from outside it looked huge.

Congrats man :D that is fantastic, don't hesitate to post pics!

Btw, are these Skyactiv motors turbo charged?

Very happy with my choices in the end.

Will post some better pics when it's not so overcast outside.

You gotz it! Congrats man...

What spec did you decide on & any options taken?

Lots of new Mazda owners on the forum hey...

Thanks.

Spent a bit more than I'd have liked but anyway. Went with the individual model which is a bit pricier but has nicer interior, auto wipers, auto lights, keyless entry and bigger/nicer wheels. Also have satnav option extra but they didn't have any stock of the SD cards so only getting that on Monday.

It drives beautifully too :)

Lovely man. Glad you're sorted.

I think once your Satnav is sorted a quick review on the effectiveness will be useful for many.

The console UI is very good as I'd hoped. A ton of options (I'll have to read the manual :p), very responsive and easy to use. Once the satnav is set up I'll give it a spin and let you know.

Congrats! A friend of mine's brother has one and it is nippy as all hell. Cozy inside but that might just be me coming from an i30.

May you have many safe kilometers in her!

What I find strange locally is that none of the 2's have LED DRL's. The top spec CX-3 locally has LED DRL's.

I believe overseas markets the 2's have LED DRL's.

Got the SD card today, initial impressions are very good. I haven't used many in-car satnav systems but it's a lot better than the one in my brothers Chevy Orlando. I normally just use Google Maps but this system (Navteq is the provider) has very clear navigation and I was never once confused at what it was telling me (Google tends to get confused sometimes). Also has things like speed limit warnings, camera warnings, weather and traffic info (the last two only if you have it connected to a wifi network).

Definitely a lot more convenient having it than having to rely on a phone.
