Redmi 10 2022 Dual Sim Issue

I got my wife a Redmi 10 a few months back on MTN and decided to add a Telkom LTE sim as backup for data when she runs out of data. I cant get the sim to register on the Telkom Network correctly, its stuck on roaming via Vodacom, been to Telkom and MTN to no avail. At Telkom we swapped my secondary Telkom sim with hers and it works in my phone Samsung A33 5G but neither of our Telkom cards work in the Redmi. Is it an issue with the firmware perhaps or APN settings?

I would say an APN issue,mine works fine,although I'm not using Telkom.

Definitely not an APN issue, but you may need to manually select the correct Mobile Network to connect to.

I've had similar issues with 4G modems and Telkom SIMs.

It may only pick up Telkom's network by number rather than friendly name, i.e it may say something like 66503.

Some trial and error manually selecting the network should yield some positive results.

Tried manually only detects MTN and Vodacom both the 2g variants, tried a few APN variants to no avail, I think it might be firmware related.

Yes, oddly last night after playing around a bit, if I do a manual scan on the primary sim(MTN) I pick up ALL the towers and operators in my area. If I do the same on the Telkom Sim in the secondary slot I only see Vodacom 2G or MTN 2G tower. So it tries roaming on the 2G Vodacom that I don't have data on as its supposed to be a LTE SIM/Bundle. If put that sim in my phone it works perfectly

Good day. Did you ever win with this issue. I have have the exact same issue on my wife's Redmi 10 2022 where telkom sim 2 isn't able to connect to the net.
