The only difference between the9s and 9pro is NFC on the 9pro, other than that, exactly the same phone.

Yeah no. Stay away from mi phones for now as they import. It means you gonna wait months for it and they won't be able to tell you where it is. Importing anything at the moment is a gamble.

The midrange Xiaomi phones are rapidly catching up with the flagships. I think that Samsung and Huawei may struggle to sell their high end devices in the future.

The world economy might remain in a slump for an extended period due to Covid-19 which is going to encourage customers to switch to cheaper devices such as those from Xiaomi and Vivo etc.

lol call me crazy but I think if Cell C and/or Telkom decided to offer a good range from the big Chinese companies at their actual price then they would see huge market share increases.

Hi guys, does anyone have a resource or something that I can lookup to see which of Huawei's 2019 model phones can still be bought new that still come with all Google services and support.

Comparing an el cheapo to a top of the range phone shouldn't even be happening but it is with the Redmi Note range.
It's like an almost on par Toyota to Ferrari comparison and complaining the speed on the Toyota sucks.
 
Received the phone. Busy setting up everything and syncing. Excellent and quick delivery from Takealot. Glad to see everything is back on track.

Cover and extra protector in the box. Also a factory applied protector on the phone. Not sure if it is glass or film.

Ah, micro sim. Had to cut the sim a bit smaller with some kitchen scissors. All good and working. :cool:

My first full day on the Redmi Note 9s. I doubt you will get 2 days from a busy day. But all depends on usage of course. When at home. Sure. But easily a day.

On the road. 4G mobile data. 80-100% Display Brightness.

Bought the 9s three weeks ago, and can honestly say it is by far the best battery usage I had on a smart phone...
