Takealot didn't advertise the screen protector or cover, but I received it. I assume it's the same for all note 9s'

Same happens with me when ordering from MIA/XIAOMI directly. Sometimes it comes with the protector and cover. Other times not. Probably depends on stock.
 
I love the note 9s. Better than my previous Huawei in every respect. My emails have some issues though (ie I'm only getting some of them, some just never arrive and also I can't use the search function). Any tips would be appreciated. Sorry to hijack your thread

Read the reviews on takealot and was another mention that it included screen protector and cover, that 1 specifically was the Grey 128gb version.

System app, can't uninstall. I tried uninstall updates. Still not lekker, search not working
 
I'm gonna order the Redmi Note 9S so long. But I am still open to other inputs as I can just as easily return it.

I'll check more comparisons compared to the Note 8 Pro.
 
I had the Note 8 pro, and it is a solid phone for the price. Just don't get it if you plan on rooting it. I rooted mine and despite all the warnings on different forums, I had no problems untill an OTA update to Android 10, which bricked it. Lucky for me the phone was purchased on Takealot and still under warranty, so I was refunded. Got the note 9s a week ago and can honestly say that the Note 8 Pro felt more responsive, handled games better, and obviously has a better camera. The one thing that stands out though on the Note 9s is the battery. I can go two days easily with fair usage
