Relationship help thread...

You know, I definitely feel this thread has kind of progressed where we have two camps of people arguing against each other. Sixty percent of both camps (i.e. the sides closest to each other) are actually pretty reasonable people who really ought to be agreeing ... it's only the extreme 40% from each side (and I'm honestly not even sure if SaoirseB and myself even a tenth as 'extreme' as the opposite extreme has painted us) who keep adding fuel to the fire (some seriously and some just for giggles).

I'm prepared to call a truce with anybody who agrees on the following core principles:
1: Mybroadband should not condone misandry or misogyny.
2: Whenever men and women in a relationship based on trust disagree on something, both sides have a responsibility to discuss the issue openly and with respect.
3: Both men AND women should respect that there are times in relationships where partners do not behave in a perfectly rational manner, most often attributed to hurt incurred in a previous relationship. During this time, for the best interests of the relationship, it is time to 'man/woman' up and reach out to your partner with respect towards their vulnerabilities, rather than callous indignation.

Obviously excluded from the above are the extremes from both camps - 'Screw what you think, if I'm in a relationship this is me, and ain't nobody gonna ask me to change' comes to mind - but I think it's a start. At least we can see if the opposing 'camps' can actually agree.

Geesus, this you PH?

You also going to protest by posting some apt sentence with regards to [-]bigotry[/-] misandry or misogyny instead of actually contributing to threads? i give up on this thread. So many pansies in here.

I would tap 6/8 in that picture :o

Good luck with that. That's a GamerGhazi meetup. They're SJWs of the worst kind. Simply saying the word 'retarded' is enough to get you banned from their subreddit. I can't imagine the pillow talk would be fun.

Only if you make a heartfelt apology.

*waves* It's so nice to see you could join us all the way from one of the extremes I was referring to, did you have a long way to travel?

And I'm guessing you're using 'pansies' in contrast to 'real men' like yourself, right?

Pansies as in men so soft they make Gays look tough. I'm plenty happy who I am and by experience so are the ladies. I can't be arsed what someone on the internet thinks about me tbh :D

Only if you make a heartfelt apology.

I am sorry for nothing I've said to you. You've been personally insulting me and others on this thread, and were the very first to go off on SaoirseB with a string of nasty labels.

I'd say you'd be the first in the apology queue.

And you? Would you classify yourself as a pansy?

'Pansy' is a discriminatory term with no value in the real world, outside of being used by people like Pitbull (and I'm surprised, I honestly didn't think people still used it).

Considering all of registerforfree's calls for complete and total equality, I'm a human. What are you?

Oh, you crossed swords with someone from the Pitbull Academy of Higher Debating, hmm?

And the assumptions keep on flying.

Funniest thing is I can now see why everyone is arguing with you. In your eyes you're either a pansy (definition at the bottom of the post) or a wife beater knuckle head. You're so far wrong it's not funny. Now go put your wife's slippers in the oven to heat them up a bit while you run her bath and she services your car for you.

Pansy
Someones whos THE bitch in a relationship. Someone who gets walked all over. One who is of a feminine nature. Has Girly qualities.
