I can log in when I try online on my PC. It worked last year and beginning of this year on Kodi too.

I'm in Malta and using NordVPN as well. However, mine is working fine in both Kodi and the Android apps. It's possible that the specific South Africa server you are using has been blocked by DStv. Can you try and choose a different server and see if that works?

I'm using Android on PIA, it was working previously some time back, but I dunno why it stopped working. Will check again today
 
if your in a non-blocked country, you don't need VPN.
Can just set an S.A IP address in x-forward-for in settings.
 
Anyone else experiencing issues with epg with the new channels not showing program info. Is it a dstv issue or iptv merge issue?
 
if they are really new - just Run Merge in IPTV Merge
Might need to wait for 24 hours for them to be scraped

It does seem that channels like 149 (flieknet) is not being scraped by Matt's scraper. This is one of the channels that was introduced by DSTV on 1st Sept. If you look at the website guide (https://www.dstv.co.za/whats-on/tv-guide/view-the-tv-guide), just scroll down to 149 and you will find the full detail but even doing a Run Merge does not seem to fix it.

I assumed since it was a new channel dstv did not have data yet but after @COMPUTEK's comment I checked the website and it is definately there.

ok, looks like the API endpoint I use refuses to return EPG data for any of the 6x new channels if they aren't the only channel specified. So each of the new ones would need to get their epg data one at a time for 7 days.

Is possible, but a lot more requests.
So looking for a new endpoint.
The web guide is just a single file but doesn't contain much info.
It uses separate call when you click an event.
 
Hi guys so new to this . So I downloaded from the slyguy respository . I did everything and got DsTV now .

when it came to login I had this error .

I signed up for DsTV now account , I never pay for premium. Do I have to sign in with an account that has a premium paid for ?
is that’s why I’m getting this error?

Please try their website. Try logging into that and playing some content.
Then advise.

I logged on there app DsTV now and was able to play these videos .
