Nope, but at least the owner will know about you if something does pop-up in the future

Okay thanks. So what do I do now? Go thru kodi (even though it tells me log in on the dstv now website with the code?) Or how do I do it?

Furthermore, I think someone once said that Kodi registers only once as a device with specific login details, doesn't matter how many times you use the add-on within different Kodi apps, but it does register.

It appears to be that way, at present, also, I feel DSTV are aware of this, but it is currently not something very simple for them to fix. But they are continually updating their systems, and I expect their system, will evolve, to the point, - , that some time in the future, they will be able to count web logins, easily. And make use of that data to control login. Just my take on the situation.

They just need the correct person to create a solution. I for one can easily think of a way to track web users and enforce it...but I wont type out ideas here for free.

That's just dstv being dstv. The TV guide has been on and off for a while now.

As long as that date is pretty close to current - then the refresh code has worked.
That doesn't help if DStv is providing bad data though

Hi All.

Got logged out on Android box. Followed everything and it pops up to select the profile, but in the addon I only have login and settings option. If played from IPTV get told to login. Tried the official app and login works and channels play. Am I missing something?

There seems to be an issue with the dstv addon these last few days. I have logged out of the addon, now I cannot log back in, before I get to the login screen, a couple of errors is displayed. This happened on all of my devices

Makes sure your all upto date (DSTV 0.14.9 and SlyGuy Common at least 0.32.1)
Login is done via Device Link now - it will give you a code to enter on the dsTV website.

Hi there, many thanx for your help. Everything was up to date as you hinted, but still had the issue. I took a change and reset the DSTV addon, and it worked.

No, popular channels like m-net, kyknet and the sport channels are 1080p, all channels are not. It is by design, nothing you can do about it.

Those channels are not being broadcast in 1080p - can only upscale them, with varing results

Good guys just a warning be on the look out for people in this group who sell kodi to clients and make it a business irdeto came to our law inforcement main office in cape town for help with arresting kodi seller and they know of this mybroadband page threatening to shut down the repo so guys stop selling kodi its for personal use
