Most epg info now displays for me, but there is still a few blank channels ... 114, 122 and 130 just to name the 1st 3

Previous one took 2 hours and 40 minutes I think.

If he did indeed, is this then the end of the road for the current add-on on Kodi? Or can someone access it ect? Open source stuff?

Try now to import https://tinuva.github.io/epg/guides/za/dstv.com.epg.xml.gz
For me channel 122 among others work fine now. If a channel is still missing, first see if it is available on https://www.dstv.com/en-za/discover/tv-guide/
For example, channel 141 is empty in kodi, but doesnt exist on the dstv website either. same for a bunch of the supersport ott channels, but the regular supersport channels work fine, just missing some episode logos which imho is ok for sport.

His repository had an update on the 19th April. So I think he is around, just not sure how often he is on mybb.
Probably not too often as I suspect he is not south african...

Github action is set to run every day at midnight, which seems to be 2AM our time. Currently it looks like it takes around 5 hours to run. Was 2 and half hours before I added the fix so hmm.

So yes 'continuously'.

Anyway I found the repo source and logged a issue request there just now.

Also, if you know it takes 5 hours, then you could skip the first 5 hours of epg.
Or, retrieve 5x extra hours and use them instead.

Anyway, I'll try swap over the EPG source to your url tonight.

I am surprised you get to see anything at all.

Latest fix run is still running, not sure how long it takes to update from my url to the url the plugin then uses.
