Holy smokes, there is 4K test channel? Let me go check that out on Kodi, was wondering when they would add it before the soccer world cup started

Yes the broadcasted the Premier league on the 4k test channel. I expect more broadcasts this weekend.
Weird you should see 199 on streaming if you have premium. Maybe you need to logout and back in for it to show?

I've tried logging out and back in again, but even then, I still don't see it

I see 4k test channels on 958 and 959.

Had a look myself and I'm stunned.....WOW, I know its not something special that hasn't been done before, but my soul, I can get used to watching sport in 4K quality
It's so smooth, crisp and clear, don't know how DSTV could've waited this long to start broadcasting in 4K! There is simply no way that they can go back now. Here's hoping they implement this across the majority of their channels, not just for SuperSport as @cavedog mentioned, they might just win a few new customers over or get a few old ones back.

Yes I think if they roll out more 4k content people will come back.
The premium package for R699 which includes showmax is not a bad price if you have like 20 to 30 channels in 4k. I would say the Movie channels, All the sport channels and broadcast everything that is in 4k for sport because not everything is then DSTV will be a decent option.

There are a few in the EPG that have no data, but does in your link. If I make a list would you look in to it?

Yes definitely. I only look at F1 really so any other channel goes un-noticed by me.

I also have quite a few channels with no EPG. Do you manage the feed?
These are the channels in Kodi that are missing the EPG data from the sites EPG;
107, 113, 114, 152, 181, 182, 302, 321, 408, 431.
These channels are not listed on the sites EPG so I assume there will be no data for them;
138, 140, 141, 165, 195, 240, 243, 244, 245, 246, 247, 311, 314, 323, 345, 347, 417, 950, 951, 952, 958, 959.
Hope that makes sense.

For a rugby and soccer fan I was excited to see the Chelsea vs United game will be streamed in 4K tomorrow
Yeah, wanted to feast my eyes again on some 4K test stream footage and saw that they prepped the two channels for those PL games tomorrow. Will also watch it in 4K glory, lol

Is this going to be in 50FPS as well or still the standard? Can't find any info anywhere but I think I did see them say that was the plan for the world cup.

Hi all. I'm running kodi on a Pi4 and since yesterday afternoon DSTV now only streams about 4 seconds then buffers indefinitely. anyone else experiencing this issue? I've tried forced updates on everything, resetting, relogging, but nothing seems to work. Looks like slyguy had an update...
