i prefer kodi because the normal app on my mi box is terrible but i guess any new sign ups for the streaming package has this block on. my friend still has the decoder premium package so i guess its a matter of time before they block them.

I actually just recently got premium when they said R699 for the new streaming package I signed up. I split it with a family member and we enjoy watching all the sport and then there is the free showmax and catchup that is included so my account is relatively old but the premium package is a new addon.

its not a workaround, its basically just implementing what their website / apps already does.
It just means you will be limited to one device streaming at a time

can you access https://k.slyguy.xyz on your browser? it should just show a single file.
If not, then I suspect your ISP has blocked it

Thank you Jeremy....Working fine now. I would never have thought that ISP is blocking the sight. Changed ISP and downloaded repository just fine. Keep up the good work

It's dreadful in the app. The navigation is so slow and buggy if it wasn't for categories like sport or recently watched there is no way to navigate all the channels easily.

I thought it was only like this on my TV because maybe the Vidda OS was terrible for the new app.

I had the same issue as above for another user, looks like some logins require to use the new license end-point which is limited to the concurrent stream limit. It may be A/B testing. His eventually switched back and allowed the old end-point.

I suspect everyone will eventually be moved to the new endpoint which enforces the concurrent stream limit in a very smart way that I don't think could be bypassed unless somehow the token was shared between all kodi instances.

My plan is to add the new mode and have a setting to enable it until its enforced everywhere

Hi guys,

I had this addon working some time ago and reverted back to using the official dstv now app but as of late, I cannot access certain channels on the dstv app, they fail to load, so im trying to go back to the Kodi addon and get the addon to work again but it fails to load any channel and I cannot see any information on the event log.

Did anything majorly change that I missed between these many pages in the thread?

I’ve now cleared all data from kodi and want to do a fresh install of the addon but thought I’d make sure prior to installing everything from the link on page 1 that there isn’t a new link etc?
