[RELEASE] DStv Now KODI Add-on

So very curious to know if they are going to be able to sort out the add-on.

What do you guys think? Could it be broken forever?
I'd imagine the principles to authenticate remain the same, but how the server responds has changed fundamentally. I'd say it's 70/30 in favour of multichoice. Time will tell...

Got a free 24h trial for IPTV. Guess what?

KykNet and all other Afrikaans channels do not work.

Most other stuff works.

At least my Showmax app works for Afrikaans shows.

Was surprised to see they show the new season of " Boer soek ñ Vrou "

try SmartStreams......it's an IPTV service......they Charge R200 for everything on DSTV and a lot more

Disappointing but not entirely unexpected...
Well like the Ps4 scene - if a hack exists, you dont make it available immediately or else it cant be patched relatively quickly. But yeah - we should consider the Iptv route

If only he could limit it to 4 streams per log in what we initially had with dstv now.

The Add-on, connects to DSTV's service, and as such, the number of connections, are dependant on what the service allows. DSTV have plugged the hole that made it possible for more connections.

4 devices, removable device registrations 2 per six months, so they said. If memory serves me right.

Crux: Originally 2 simultaneous streams officially.

They cut it down to 1 stream, even if you subscribe to the streaming package.

Pathetic to say the least.

Probably the only service world wide with one stream

But hey, the satellite dishes located in the townships are still paying, as well as my elderly parents.

Wondering how far that deployment of cheap fibre from Vuma is in the " townships '.

Maybe an updated article needed from Mybroadband?

Multichoice might be in for a bumpy ride.

DSTV already 30% owned by Vivendi/Canal +, they want to take over DSTV, wonder what their subscription midel is?

Then its pointless

No, it is not pointless, it is there for Folks with non-Google certified devices, like Fire Sticks, among others, can be used to access DSTV. It was never meant to be a piracy tool, which many regarded it as such, because DSTV have been a bunch of inept idiots, for God alone, knows how long. DSTV have closed a hole that should never have existed if they where half way competent.
