is that for remote support? (i've used it for meetings a few times and agree it's great for presentations/etc)

Best solution for my usage patterns will cost around $20 a month, not a deal breaker and definitely worth it! Staggeringly good remote software...

A long shot but are there any similar remote desktop type software that lets you manage an android cellphone remotely?
I had to setup my Mom's new phone via a Zoom call, her showing me the screen and me telling her where to tap...2hrs of insanity later it was kind of setup, what a painful experience

I haven't read the thread, so I don't know your use case, but Splashtop is a good alternative, and is much better priced than Anydesk.

Been using AnyDesk for the past few months, Teamviewer pissed off our Company by increasing their license fees... and we took our 18000 licenses to AnyDesk

I'm sure they could easily verify hours logged and/or number of host machines accessed.
With Anydesk I have 2 remote sessions open up to 8 hours a day and around 14 host machines associated with my account, maybe 6 of the 14 are accessed regularly.

On my desktop, with a hundred or so machines in the history and multiple connections going daily - nothing.
When I open Anydesk I always deny the UAC popup as it doesn't need it to function properly. Not sure if that's the magic trick or if my day of reckoning is coming.
Will pay the $20 when it comes to it though, but that's only for one device...
Not keen to pay $20 x 3 per month or whatever the next option is to cover my phone, laptop and desktop.

I want to Anydesk into a Android device to remotely manage the Android device, not the other way. The other way is possible via the Anydesk android app and works well.

Yeah, should be able to do everything and anything as if you physically had the phone in front of you.
It gets tricky on my Oneplus if the screen lock kicks in. Obviously you cannot unlock using fingerprint or face unlock remotely. And the keypad doesn't display for pin entry.
Windows 10 as well but the example I posted was conducted using Win 11...
