Can anyone recommend some decent remote access / control software to provide support to parents' PC in the UK? Both sides (mine and theirs) on Win XP, both on sort-of broadband. Something that requires them to accept a connection is essential (don't want anyone else taking over the machines).

I haven't really looked at this before - what are the options?

AFAIK most of the VNC flavours just require a password, not an approval of an incomming connection.

Installing on both PCs is fine. The password question might be OK. Thanks all!

I've used LogMeIn recently, the great thing about it is that it can be installed as a Firefox extension :)
