I know this is probably a really noobzor question but how do I do this?

Essentially I want to be able to remote into my Vista PC from my MAC whilst at home. They are both will be in my house on one network.

From google I have found Remote Desktop Connection Client 2.0.1 on Apple.com, is that what I need?

What else would I need to know.

Thanks

Grim

I use RDC all the time. Works well - probably better than VNC.

You'll need to activate remote desktop sharing under vista - in XP its under the remote tab in the system properties. I dont have vista but I can check W7 later if you're battling.

I connect via IP address.

I do the same as bwana, also use the IP, but thats cos i am on a different subnet from the box i am connecting to, so sometimes the resolving of hostnames doenst work properly. Works way better than VNC, i tried both.
