Yes effectively as a Dacia which is a lower end car for the emerging market.
But I dont really care its a good addition to our market as it fills a gap I just thought pboys statement was idiotic that knowing a car was re-branded makes no difference to the buyer.

I agree. It's the value that counts and these days all global manufacturers source parts and manufacturing resources from everywhere so it is a bit academic. My Jeep was built in Mexico, but nobody calls Jeep a Mexican brand. Jaguar and Land Rover is owned by Tata India, but nobody accuses Land Rover of being rebranded Tata's. And no matter which brand, they all have components from dozens of countries and hundred if not thousands of parts suppliers.

But seriously there is a difference, though. TATA did little more with Jaguar and Land Rover than give them the financial stability needed to continue doing what they had been. Neither suddenly started churning out cars for lower tier markets, nor did they start slapping their badges on second-rate products.
