Hi

First post here. i would like to know if there is companies available that rents out Switches.

Myself and a few friend are hosting a LAN +- 300 people now we have the venue and mostly everything else all i need is switches.

i am looking to rent the switches and had a look around but found small amount of information. i am looking to rent the following.

7 x 48port unmanaged switches
1 x 16 port Managed gigabit switch

If someone can point me in the right direction. dis will probably not be once off and will take place once a month

Thanx in advance!

If this is going to be a regular thing then it will definitely work out cheaper to buy your own switches.

I am agreeing 100% with deweyzeph. Switch rentals are also not always the better logistical route to proceed with, due to switch returns with various problems the people do charge premium rental on these babies.

What you can do is contact a distributor company to agree with a sponsorship, so that they can have a little showcase etc.

OR

Buy your own, good investment, since this is the core component in your LAN hub.

If you could PM me that would be great. I might be able to help you out.
