repeatedly being disconnected from telscum

for the past two weeks i have been constantly disconnected from the net.
my connection will work fine for 10-30 mins then go down for 5-10mins and this is repeatedly happening! really p!sses me off.

anyone else experiencing this...in cape town

damn, connection went down.......waiting for it to go up to post this!
 
Been having the same problem in JHB since 16 Dec - Telscum conveniently sent me an sms to say the fault has been rectified. Immediately phoned them but had to log a new fault - still doing it and now the phone line is dead most of the time and when it works there is a huge amount of crackling on the line

My ADSL is also doing it. It keeps disconnecting and the the router status light shows its connected to the internet but not to ADSL.
I have a few accounts I play arround with and it is doing it on all of them. MWEB and AXXESS.
It frustrates the %$#%$#$# out of me. I will surf or download and the next moment I just get page cannot be displayed. If I check the router it always shows it's connected to the internet but not ADSL.

Why would this be?
