Why is it that so many black people have a normal life and work hard for their income.
lets see the SA population was at 40.6 million in 1994, lets say there was a 50% unemployment as posted by Synaesthesia meaning that the population being unemployed was at 20.3 million.
Currently in SA the population is estimated to be 50 million, now lets say our unemployment is at 25% as you pointed out, meaning the total unemployed people in this country is 12.5 million
so that leaves us with 7.8 million jobs being created, well done - if this is true, however given the current corruption situation in SA I can't help but not to trust the spin doctors of stats SA.
but according to these statistics from 1994 http://www.gprg.org/themes/t2-inc-ineq-poor/unem/unem-pov.htm the unemployment rate was around 26.2% in the narrow definition amongs African, my only logic tells me that the government is manipulating statistics,
according to this site, the unemployment was around 32.6% in 1995. http://countrystudies.us/south-africa/65.htm,
Well stick to one source and trust it then, what do you believe the figures to be? Given that before 1994 80% of the population couldn't apply for most jobs.
My logic tells me that the figures will be lower than 94 because they could apply for most jobs afterwords, but the actual new job creation hasn't change whatsoever. Meaning from an administrative view actual job creation haven't happened at all.
Count the number of massive shopping malls and office blocks that have gone up since 2000, let alone since 1994, from an 'administrative view' that implies that job creation HAS happened.
violent crime will only remain at its current levels until something is done about the white collar crime happening at the top.
