Yes, and everyone thought Trump was a funny/silly celebrity, until he decided to run for president and especially after he won. Then the rhetoric from the democrats and their supporters toward him and republicans changed to hostility and has not stopped since.

An excellent point. And I also suspect that the US military is facing massive obsolescence right now. In the American Spanish war at the turn of the 20th centaury on paper Spain had an impressive navy but when they actually fought the American navy they fell apart in spectacular fashion. Their naval gun accuracy was a fraction of the US fleet and maintenance had fallen by the wayside due to financial pressures on the Spanish empire so what looked impressive from shore fell apart real fast. In a declining budget environment like I think the US is now in I wonder how strong their fleet and equipment are. I also think the advent of drones, in particular naval drones have just made big surface fleets very obsolete. Drones have changed war. Tanks and surface ships in Ukraine/Russia just die so fast. While the US is trying to adapt most of their already sunk cost (their airforce, navy, and army equipment) is questionably useful at this point in time.

Because the one side was just rolling over and letting the other dictate the direction, until they were pushed too far and decided to start standing up for logic and rationality

That outline on his T shirt from the videos and other angles might just be the cable of a secondary microphone or something similar that's clipped under his T shirt or it could just be that the T shirt is a bit large for him and the way his sitting is producing that outline in the T shirt.

Ah right. Cable makes sense, because in the angle where he gets shot (I posted it before) there’s an unnatural shape across his upper chest that looks like the top of a plate.

Indeed. Very much like Zuma. It was simply incomprehensible that a human of that character could possible be elevated to the highest office of the land. And that campaign messages such as the ones he rode in on, would find a mark. It was just a silly notion. Everyone forgot that the US has a rural population.

And we all know the fun that showerhead left behind....

Well yes and no, the Soviet Union had a massive army until they very quickly didn't. Its not necessarily an indicator of anything.

The outline as in the necklace he wears? You can see him wearing the same necklace in many other incidents.

Everything that i have seen indicates this was very well planned, from adjusting his walking gait to knowing where cameras are and shielding his face, nothing ive seen indicates stupidity. Hes just an average marksman.

Might be foolish to automatically interpret China's untested battle capability as a weakness, it also has the potential to be a strength, besides...a US - China war has a 99 percent likelihood of becoming a world war.....and that's not going to go in favour of the US.
