Not surprised. The 3000 people attending the event all headed for the exit and the university asked everyone to leave campus for safety immediately. That meant the killer could mingle in the crowd and leave.

Also - there was basically no security. Not at the level you would have for a political leader.

I was also just thinking, so far we have had:

• Brian Thompson
• Charlie Kirk

I feel sad, and I feel angry about Charlie's death.

The man just had good debates, trying to make the world a better place.
Shot dead because somebody disagreed with him.

I feel sad for his family and his kids, who won't have a father to teach them.

I truly hope the world changes for the better because of his death.
I believe in freedom of speech, but all these people who call for
people who are to be killed online should get blocked or banned from
the platforms.

You say that now but by tomorrow someone will do a mega stich of all the controversial things he ever said and we wont even know which issue the shooter killed him over.
