RIP Charlie Kirk

I think and hope his death brings positive change somehow. It already bad enough that two children will be without their father but if his death was for nothing that be worse.

The news for this was broken for me last night at 21:46 in a discord server by someone celebrating the shooting of this hatemonger (his words)

He started doing a lot of backpedaling when more and more condemned him for celebrating it, and it is a mostly left leaning group on the server.

The left are more and more showing their colours as the people of "tolerance and acceptance" by being anything but tolerant and accepting.

I would leave that Discord server. I also saw some streamers mocking the poor man. That was actually messed up. "yea controlling my language I actually liked the dude." I thought he was going to do a lot of good in the world.

What should happen for you to consider rightoids as not cucks.
Stop allowing even the remote possibility of a situation where democrats let blacks kill whites on a bus without there being massive fear of some sort of backlash. This cucked apathy does nothing except continue the deterioration of a country. Rightoids are so cucked, that even the fear of being called an -ism causes them to be crippled in fear.

The right doesn't do random political violence.
And that's why important rightoid pundits get their neck blasted away, while leftoid pundits laugh about it online.

That is kinda what makes them the right, if they just behave like leftist then what is the point?
Rightoid cucks right now are just leftoids on a slower speed. That's all. I lump Trump into that cuckoid sphere.

You say that now but by tomorrow someone will do a mega stich of all the controversial things he ever said and we wont even know which issue the shooter killed him over.

I'm not saying its right to kill someone over an opinion - but people who openly say the things he said, might want to talk behind some bullet proof glass.
Having no idea this dude even existed, before today. It would seem to me that he was killed because of how successfull he was becoming in aligning the younger folk toward "right " leaning values. There's probably no left leaning equivalent of him. It's a bit surprising then that his security was not more of a priority.

Trumps honestly been one huge disappointment. I haven't seen a single person hanging from a gibbet despite all the promises :(

Reddit is an echo chamber of leftism. I got banned from r/pics just for questioning why every second post was pro-Kamala and the other one was anti-trump instead of any other topic in the world? That said, I also got banned from r/southafrica simply for participating in r/capetown, where I live. It's dangerous for people to think that those kind of platforms represent reality, but it can also be humorous to see reality slowly dawn on people (the 2024 election being the prime example).

Lol, I got banned from the same two subreddits, r/pics for questioning an image and r/southafrica for identifying a snake (cape cobra) in r/westerncape, participating in other subreddits is verboten. r/southafrica banned a ton of people for no real reason.

My favourite cuckism from Trump was when he wanted to give amnesty to all illegals working on farms.

The yanks always did need someone to pick their cotton though

I was hoping to see Whoopsy Goldberg swing at least. Sadly that hope is out the window now

He did what few people do - engage in calm debate with people whose views were diametrically opposed to his own.
He was a real change agent - didn't have to agree with his views to see that he conducted himself according to a moral code and was willing to talk to anyone about topics important to him.
He didn't live in an echo chamber, and he played the ball, never the player. A proper proponent of free speech.
He wasn't rude, he didn't swear, and despite some controversial views (for 2025, his outlook would have been seen as normative family values in the 90s), he was a huge advocate for maintenance of the family unit.

RIP and condolences to his family.

I wish we could report the r/southafrica mods to Reddit for their crap antics

r/pics is a sh*thole. Completely overtaken by toxic US politics. It is also sums up everything wrong with Reddit.

The bold bit cannot be brushed aside. When a platform becomes an echo chamber (which Reddit increasingly is), it becomes dangerous as it allows radical ideas to flourish. Even if niche, you place a bunch of loonies together in a room and something tangible can come from that, and online echo chambers are those rooms. Don't forget that lunatic Aaron Bushnell. He was a radical and very active across multiple anarchist and left-leaning subs on Reddit and his entire profile (comments and posts) were purged by Reddit. People were reading and upvoting his comments. These platforms can lead to environments where like-minded individuals embolden one another, share their nuttiness and drag people further into wackiness.

And it goes both ways. Conservative and right-leaning subs were banned and heavily censored because they were deemed to be environments that cultivate and spread hate while encouraging violence.

ISIS made use of online recruitment via social media platforms, with Twitter being one of their best tools before they were censored.

Social media is incredibly powerful, both in terms of spreading ideas and driving narratives.

Doesn't matter which side of the fence stand. Freedom of speach and points of view; be it religion, politics, way of life or anything really. In no way or manner does it warrant being killed for those views.

I found it utterly disgusting seeing people celebrate the death of an individual... I mean how on earth? He never harmed anyone, he was very intelligent and was willing to debate his opinions and views in public. For that he is killed at 31 with a wife and two small children?

I think this will have even further implications down the line. The Right of America already outweigh the left, feels like a massive shift in politics going forward.

The left just destroyed itself.
