If you think Trump has a naval battle group off Venezuela's coast because he cares about a tiny boat of...something, then I have many bridges to sell you.

Almost all drugs entering the US comes over the Mexican border. Not 2 small boats with barely any space for drugs over multiple weeks.

I'm sure some of these speedboats are used to smuggle drugs.

When the USA does this it is normally to target a specific person. I don't know who that might be in this case.

And yes I agree it is about more than the drugs.

Thinking about it for 5 min. They might just be showing off that they have the capability to track and target small fast moving boats for Iran.

He's short-sighted. He gains nothing from 'needing' to have an opinion about any of this. He has a family to look after. I appreciate him using his platform to expose opinions about our country, but 'needing' to state opinions about US politics benefits him nothing. Big brands will be big brands; if he really feels this way he'll need to boycott and denounce any and all products and services that don't share his righteous viewpoints. What he's doing is self-destructive. He of all people should understand that music (especially his) has a short shelf life. Let's hope he's diversified and has a long term plan.

No semantics here. It's very simple.

You're not a government. There is no recognition in the US that any individual on their own private property needs to tolerate anybody for any reason. Refusing to tolerate someone in that circumstance is therefore not hypocrisy. Nobody ever agreed that you had to.

America's government though actually DID acknowledge they had to tolerate certain kinds of speech. They even wrote it down and made it part of their highest law. Then didn't apply it evenly to all people. It's hypocrisy.

You think the US are the good guys because they make your favourite music and TV shows, despite doing far worse worldwide than anything Russia has done in the last 30 years.

The same freedom of speech rules apply.

A government is not somehow special. It is just people.

Did he deserve to die, no. Should we now celebrate him as a hero when his whole career was about sowing division and hate towards people his religion and backward thinking ways don't agree with, HELL NO.

There are many posts in this thread of people showing his hatered and you "conservatives" don't see the hate, because you are part of the problem.
