RIP George Carlin

R.I.P George Carlin

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - A publicist for George Carlin says the legendary comedian has died of heart failure at a hospital in Santa Monica, Calif.

Jeff Abraham says Carlin went into St. John's Health Center on Sunday afternoon, complaining of chest pain. Carlin died at 5:55 p.m. PDT. He was 71.

Carlin, who had a history of heart trouble, performed as recently as last weekend at the Orleans Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas. It was announced Tuesday that Carlin was being awarded the 11th annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.

I've seen some of his stand up sessions, they were good.
I say good, because I didn't really enjoy them but I got a chuckle now and again.
Still, having said that, A comedian who dies is a loss :(

come on! that man was a genius!!! i loved listening to him. He would joke about stuff that ppl usually rant about. like did u ever hear his airplane session?? THAT was funny.

Yeah he was damn funny. I loved listening and watching his performances.

yea...im gonna have to think about that one...i want to get them and dinosaurs but how? he never wants to see me again? hmmm...:confused: too bad im gonna get stuff from him anyway ^^
