Hey guys, so I want to buy some XRPs but I don't quite know where to store them. I want a wallet which will be absolutely up to me, not a trader's wa\llet like altocointrader. Any advice?

Check out Jaxx, a multiple platform wallet started by Anthony Di Iorio , co-founder of Ethereum. There's an app available so that you don't have to keep anything on your PC/laptop.

I'd suggest getting a Ledger Nano S. Offline wallet. Then you know it's safe.

Invest in the Ledger Nano S, any electronic wallet (even if you have access to the private keys) are slow to transact (they loved blaming the blockchain for it's slowness in transactions whereas hardware wallets sent immediately) and most of them keep screwing around, recently lost a few bucks of ETH because I tested an ewallet that looked promising.
