However here in the Helderberg it is more the location, we have 4 Spurs in my vicinity. Strand used to be nice, now it is meh, Gordon's Bay always sucked, the one at the Mall is kark, but the one at Waterstone Village is rather accommodating, some are clearly better managed.

I love Rocomamas burgers. In my opinion you can't compare them to Spur's...stuff. Converted the whole family too.

Comparing regular pricing vs special pricing is hardly apples vs apples.
How about using the normal Spur pricing and then adding the fact that it's nowhere in the same league?
That being said as Ribs not being RocoMamas primary cuisine I'm not surprised it's a bit more expensive as it's meant to be option that entices you as an extra.

Rocomamas is owned by Spur. Probably utilise same supply chain.

I usually buy those prepacked pork ribs at the supermarkets and throw them in the oven, but those are really expensive nowadays. Lamb ribs it are mostly nowadays, better on the braai.

His original statement was R140 at RocoMamas which relates to the Beef ribs and aren't even listed by Spur.
For the lack of sides and the improvement in quality it's much of a muchness really.
