I personally would pay the extra few hundred rand and get a proper guarantee.guess 1200 sealed in the box is a good deal then, I will go with it!
sorry if this is a stupid question, but what about power? USA use 110v if I recall correctly. The adapter that it comes with, does it support 110/230v? Or am I going to have to go buy a step-down transformer lol
There was a whole discussion on the power supply. The power supply that came with my Roku (about a year old) is rated at 110V only. The previous models were rated at 110-230V, but they had the same model number as the 110V rated power supplies. So for some reason the manufacturer of the power supply changed the rating. I tested my power supply (without the Roku connected) and it worked fine on 220V, but I decided not to take a chance and I bought a 230V rated power supply. It's your call.
