Hello Guys

Since i got my 5mbps 1:1 fibre ,my geeky guys in the hood wanna connect, got a picostation up. Now i gave them the password, all of a sudden, dhcp has 21 leases when i gave only two guys, i wanna get a mikrotik router from scoop to run a hotspot. but now i dont know which router os level do i need to print out 1000 vouchers since i see a limitation of 200 users on the level 4 one, which one should i get?

Thanks

With 5 Mbps connection, and a couple of users (21?) - no one's gonna have a uber great experience, so don't spend to much, also some licensed operators in area might inform ICASA - for what that's worth :wtf:

He said 1:1 . I assumed contention ratio, which can be shared well.
Now that i look again, it might be symmetrical rather

21 is all the tablets they must have been updated and their smart Tv's
Tablets, phones, computers, TV's , media boxes,printers.....nowadays everything is connected.

At my office the dlink kept chucking people of the network and couldn't figure our why. We had recently employed someone new, and realised the the soft limit of number of wifi clients was being reached at those times when we were all in the office. There was an average of 4 devices per person

Stick with Mikrotik and get a RB951, set ether 5 for hotspot and start creating users and set limits for each lease. Problem solved.
