Is it not a problem with a firewall on the laptop?

turned off all the security...... Firewall, virus programs. still does it....

What browser are you using? Also check to see if you have a proxy enabled under lan connections in IE.

As Afrikane says check the proxy that will cause the problem.

or maybe the wireless access point on your laptop is buggered, try that out somewhere else, like a hotspot or friends router

Also check that the channel frequency on the wireless point on your laptop and the channel frequency on the router is the same. I had that problem before

Thanks......

Thanks guys. Figured out the problem. :o I just usually typed in //10.0.0.2 to get into the router and on my new laptop i have to type in http://10.0.0.2... Anybody maybe know why it works on 1 laptop and not the other? All the settings are the same....
