Rudi Jansen resigns as MWEB CEO

This is really sad news. Rudi is a super cool guy, and fought hard for improving the Internet and broadband in South Africa.
 
:( hopefully that doesn't spell bad news for us, but all the best Rudi and thanks for the positive contribution that you've made!
 
I've never liked his attitude. Very smug and doesn't actually listen. "Take it or leave it" was his style.

Maybe a fresh broom is required at Mweb.
 
Big loss for Mweb. Jansen is synonymous with Mweb. Wishing him the best in the future, for whatever he does.
 
What a major loss for Mweb. I hope we will not see the loss filter through in the already heavily taxed Mweb performance.
 
Rudi , you brought us Uncapped and changed the local Internet scene so much for the better. Good luck !
 
Maybe WebAfrica is hiring to get them into gear ;)

Been good ride with mweb and great things was achieved. They'd loss a mover and shaker...
 
Rudi will be pursuing new business interests outside the ISP sector.

He will be sorely missed by all of us but rest assured, the vision of Freeing the Web is something that is shared by all of us here at MWEB and we will continue to push the boundaries and grow as a business.
 
Thanks for giving us usable and affordable uncapped. If it was not for that I would not have a telkom line. Telkom should really thank Rudi for what did while at Mweb.
