Personally I think that Moses Madiba stadium is nothing short of stunning. I would love to see the Sharks based there!!!
Stunning it is, but the history is in Kings Park. So I would way rather prefer they remain in the Tank.
Discussion going on regarding this headbutt from Kevin Mealamu on Lewis Moody.
first time I have seen the footage ... it could not have been more deliberate & deserved his sentence (I think)
Two good games on TV tonight!
21:15 - 23:30 = SS1 = Rugby = Wales v Fiji
21:40 - 23:45 = SS5 = Rugby = Aviva Premiership: Leicester Tigers v Harlequins
In the end it was always going to be a purely financial decision. Regardless of that, I'm glad that we are staying at Kings Park!!Looks like the Sharks are staying at Kings Park. Cant say I'm not happy.
Wales 16 - 16 Fiji
Fiji draw it after the hooter with a penalty.
I'm very disappointed. Such a visually stunning stadium and it's going to be totally under utilized!! I recently was fortunate enough to watch a test at Soccer City and what a fantastic experience that was compared to Loftus or Ellis Park. It never felt like there were 95000 there other than when they spoke as one... The infrastructure in and around the stadium is just magnificent as I'm sure it is at the Moses Madhiba.. I've never been to Kings Park so not really commenting from 1st hand experience but surely the experience of visiting a world class, new stadium would far exceed that of visiting an old and outdated one (historical value not withstanding)?Looks like the Sharks are staying at Kings Park.
