I'm actually over this game no one has any honor, you cant even get started without getting killed and loosing all your stuff. R200.00 down the tubes ....... There should be a penalty for killing players that are not hostile or don't have a gun. In its current form I think its going to chase off all the new players joining. I assume there are no safe zones either.

It's Rust dude it's called survival thats what the game is about, try and meet players you can team up with or build together, and then protect each other and if you can get alliances going that will be a huge plus as well.

Everyone started by getting killed thats how you learn not to trust anyone and to start making some friends to help protect you.

Yeah this server is a little different, people in SA don't really make the game fun they just shoot anyone and everyone. Maybe most of them come from the COD series, who knows?

Don't worry man, we're gonna start a town VERY soon, I'm just figuring out the "Law of the Land" and all the angles it can be exploited/broken/etc
Should I start a thread so long to see if there is interest? Maybe talk about the rules/etc?

Lol rules probably wont be followed. But I am interested, would be nice if there was a safe zone mod, so at least you could get a weapon before venturing out into the wilderness.

Edit: It would be a whole lot more fun if people robbed you instead of just killing you, I mean if you run then cool let them shoot you.

If you don't follow the rules you get banished out of the town and can't come back. If you do you will be shot on site.
Work together with us and have a community and support, or hit the road and fend for yourself... that simple.

Keep making the server awesome and feel free to invite more friends and tell them about the game and awesome server!

If we hit 100 slots we will sure increase it, so that is not a problem at all.

Before i purchase this as it seems flippen awesome especially with the little community thing going, how is this game with lag? Im in thailand and wanna join you guys but i dont want there to be a huge disadvantage if im pinging 300 +.

Wow. First night (real time) was a lot of fun. Died a lot, got griefed by one douchebag, went to bed at 3am.

I don't see how one can stay alive and keep your stuff if you're alone. Building alone takes too long (never mind gathering) and most people know the map really well so hiding is not really an option.

I'm keen to join up with a clan, group etc on either the gamershaven server or the community Keeper has started?

550 is abit high, you looking for about 200 - 250ms to make it playable, but you can still test and see how it is

Update from Multiplay:

Rust - Oxide update
Following on from the patch yesterday, we're updating all Oxide servers to be running the latest version.

We noticed a slight issue where our backend systems didn't actually apply the steam update to everyone & only applied the latest Oxide patch.

We're rolling out the steam update now and have fixed the issue which caused the failed download.

Will keep you informed when server is back online.

Server is finally back online sorry for this, was really out of our hands, but it's now back up and you can also now see it under "Modded" tab again on the browser, have fun!
