RWC game OZ vs SA

I disagree. We had most of the possession, territory and dominated in everything. But as soon as the boys got close to the try line and a ruck was formed, the Aussies would slow the ball down, go off their feet or put hands in the ruck. If you know anything about rugby, you'd know that none of that is legal. The SA ruck would land up being a free for all with the ref oblivious to the rules and completely blind to any infringement. However, I can't say that the ref might not have allowed us to do the same, simply because the Aussies didn't see the ball enough for them to ruck enough times and allow SA to do so. They had good line out ball but we were better. They held our scrum, but just did so. They played poorly and did not deserve the win.

We didn't squander our chances as much as they were spoiled by the Aussies hands in when ever we set up a phase inside the 5 meter line. I wouldn't go as far as calling the ref a cheat, but something was not on, considering the attention given to the break down by all the referees in all the other games. Can't say that the ref doesn't know the law either, after all, he is an international referee selected for the WC.

Exactly.

My pains in that game were the rucks and mauls, I felt way too much hands in there. I also think we're lucky no-one broke a neck as a crap load of tackles that I saw had arms around necks or at best on the collar bones.

SA played well, AUS captilised on a stupid mistake by us and deserved that try but we had two tries denied and the one penalty against the padding of their one pole. Definately a worse side has gone through.

Fully agree.

Bryce has been a ****er since the first game he reffed internationally. I have always felt that he was more biased against SA whenever we play Auz. He always tends to "miss" Auz infringements when they would count for us. But "happens" to notice them when they would not make a direct difference to our scoreline, ie whenever we are out of kicking range.
This clever reffing on his part gives him a leg to stand on when it comes to showing a balanced game with no Bias. Whether it is intentional on his part, or simply incompetence, I am not quite sure. But this trend is easily identifiable if you watch all of the games that he has reffed.

I don't deny that if we wanted to win the world cup under fair circumstances, that Bismark needed to start. As did Hougaard instead of Habana. That fact would have needed to be true for every game in the playoff stages and that needs to be taken up with our coach. But I am truly not convinced that either of them would have trumped the ****er, that is Bryce Lawrence.

Even the UK newspapers are saying he sucked as a ref. So its not just us.

Where can I get a video of the knock on of Fourie Du Preez?

Youtube? I looked at the other knock on there last night. That first one was not a forward pass, the one from Du Preez certainly wasn't. If the refing was up to standard, we would have won by two tries and all the penalties that Pocock would have given from his expeditions into our ruck. I hope Brycie comes on holiday here soon;).

I tried the tube.

I saw that too, just wanted to confirm. Tx
