Yeah - they just happen to trade under the same name as one of the most famous camera stores anywhere.

Sorry but they'll never get a dime out of me.

BTW - got a 1-2cm thick catalogue from the REAL B&H Photo in my postbox today - talk about shutterbug porn. :D
 
and none of them have Olympus listed :(

SACamera do have some models, but not listed either you have to search for them

edit: Ok I see B&H sa does.. but I feel almost the same as bwana with their name
 
Hey guys, totally noob when it comes to photography but I would like to get a nice DSLR this year. Reasons.... just because :D

A buddy of mine recommended the Canon 1000D and I found it on sacamera for R7,3k

Kodak Express has it for R7k I think but they offer a Canon A470 free as well as a camera bag. They also throw in 20 free prints per month for a year.

After reading a few photography threads I noticed some people mentioning B&H... and found the following:

With shipping and taxes, would it not be a better deal because of the extra lens, but is it safe to ship to SA though?

ROFL - I just discovered SA Camera is literally cross the road from our offices.
 
OH Btw.. I found the Oly E520 I wanted. had to speak to somebody I know, who knows the Head of Oly SA and they can get it in for me. Now its just a matter of finding the cash to pay for it. I did some renovations to the house this month and any cash I had is now gone

I am very much so. What price FIS?, But unless SARS pay me back my tax, and I get a raise this month.. I'm going to be in the situation were I have to sell off somethings instead of buying anything new :(
