Vanilla Android is the only flavour of Android that can compete with the refined and smooth user experience of the iPhone and iOS. It gives you close to that experience, while being open enough, in case you don't like the closed Apple ecosystem, using iTunes, etc. (which I love).

Samsung's version includes a whole lot of bloatware, it's much buggier too, laggy, etc.

Comes down to personal preference and what you want out of your device, and how customisable you want it to be.

Apple ecosystem is very different to Android.

I have the iPhone 6 and the wife has the Note4, and it's preference. They are both great devices.
If you comparing the iPhone 6 and the Note4, then exclude the iPhone5S (in my personal opinion)

actually gonna do that tomorrow, another thing its that I hate huuuge phones, not that big will do.

If you're looking at a "small" phone, the Z3 Compact is probably the best out there.

Bigger options aren't as obvious.

Personall I upgrade in a month and I can't decide if I want Z3 or the Z3 Compact.

I currently have an S4 and went to look at the Note 4. While it's a nice device I'm tired of Touchwizz. Sony keeps a lot closer to true Android.

depends on your use case.

if you like freedom, throw iphone out the window.

then it's between the Note 4 and S5. The S5 is more than 6months old now. Rather get the note 4. Best specs out there at the moment. I have one. And it are awesome.
